Sustainability
We have been working in this space for more than a decade. The first DOLIUM prototypes were designed with sustainability in mind. This was followed shortly thereafter by our first Life-Cycle Analysis in 2012.
We have continued to make meaningful progress since then, including formalizing our 5 year-Sustainability Roadmap with the goal of being the most sustainable one-way keg on market. We are proud of our progress, but we know the job will never be finished.

ISO standards 14040/44
Cradle to grave analysis vs. returnable steel kegs across 18 environmental impact categories analyzed.
Depending on shipping distance, rotations, and recyclability, DOLIUM kegs score equal to -- or significantly better than returnable kegs.
Recyclability
All materials used in our keg are 100% recyclable with validated second life applications.
DOLIUM is also a single wall, no bag solution, which means it is lighter to ship (lower CO2 emissions) and without the problems of the (un)recyclability of an inner bag.
Recycled Content
We started using recycled materials in our kegs in 2019.
Today approximately one third of our kegs are made with recycled materials.
Our target is to reach 100% of kegs containing recycled materials by 2025.
